de maximis, inc., a nationwide firm specializing in project coordination, currently has opportunities in Southern California. We are currently looking to fill the following position:

Project Manager

Candidate would have a B.S. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or Civil).  Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within two years, and Masters degree is a plus.  Candidate should have 5 to 7 years or more relevant experience in the environmental consulting industry and familiarity with local regulatory guidelines.  Candidate needs to have demonstrated site investigation/remediation knowledge, work plan and report preparation, task management, cost estimating and scheduling experience.  The candidate should be detail oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.   Position will be based in Southern California (preferably Orange or Los Angeles County) and will require some travel. OSHA 40-hour training and valid California driver’s license required.

Sr. Environmental Planner/Project Manager, CEQA & NEPA - Long Beach, California and Redlands, California (two positions)

Stantec is seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager or Principal with consulting experience and established client relationships, to play a key role in growing our Environmental Management business in  Southern California.  The ideal candidate will have established relationships with energy companies, along with technical expertise leading multi-media environmental permitting, CEQA, NEPA, and large-scale capital projects in the state.  As a senior leader, you will be fully accountable for successfully selling and consulting on a range of environmental, social, and health impact assessment projects to build a sustainable business locally, while networking with Stantec's global practice team to share best practices across the industry.
