To be the preeminent forum for the acquisition and sharing of knowledge by the community of San Diego environmental professionals.
To facilitate the protection of San Diego's environment by helping the environmental professional community reconcile environmental protection with other public and private needs and priorities.
To assist members with continuing development of useful knowledge and helpful relationships by providing the following services:
Forums where members can meet and learn from knowledgeable expert speakers and other members;
Timely access to useful information through various electronic media;
Promoting the advancement and application of sound science to environmental issues with relevance to the San Diego region; and
Facilitating the development of cooperative relationships across traditional boundaries and barriers among industry, government, academia, and non- governmental organizations.
