Join SDEP for our June Luncheon. We're fortunate to have Greg Geisen, NAVWAR Revitalization Project Manager. He is leading the Navy’s redevelopment of 70-acres of Federal property to acquire modern NAVWAR facilities on Naval Base Point Loma Old Town Campus. He will discuss the critical relationship of the Navy and San Diego, NAVWAR's mission and the role it plays within the Navy and provide an overview of the opportunity and potential of the NAVWAR redevelopment, a once-in-a-generation, massive transformational development for the San Diego region.
Speaker Information:
A retired Navy officer, Geisen previously served as NAVWAR’s Director of Corporate Communications and Congressional Liaison from 2010 to 2018. His Navy career included assignments in surface warfare, public affairs, congressional affairs, and senior communications roles supporting U.S. Sixth Fleet, U.S. Central Command, U.S. Third Fleet, and Naval Special Warfare Command.
Geisen served as the lead spokesperson for the U.S. Navy SEALs during operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, supported the rescue of Captain Richard Phillips from the Maersk Alabama, and contributed to Navy public affairs efforts for Act of Valor and Lone Survivor. He is a 1989 graduate of the University of Southern California and retired from active duty in 2010.

$50 for members, $60 for non-members. Members, sign up by Friday, May 22 and save $5 on registration! Walk-ins with no reservation will be charged an extra $10 and be asked to wait until those with reservations are seated.
