Abstract:

Ms. Cantu will update us on the status of the Navy’s Environmental Restoration Program in the region and discuss potential business opportunities with NAVFAC SW.

Speaker Information:

Allison Cantu, PE, F.SAME, serves as the NAVFAC SW Environmental Restoration Product Line Leader for NAVFAC SW. She assumed this current position in 2022. In this role, she leads the Restoration team in cleaning up and closing Environmental Restoration Program sites in an efficient, effective, and sustainable manner at Navy and Marine Corps bases within the southwestern U.S. She has an 19-year career with NAVFAC: 16 years at SW and 3 at WASH. She has experience as a Remedial Project Manager for Naval Base Point Loma, Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head, and Marine Corps Base Quantico as well as Remedial Technical Manager experience. Ms. Cantu has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is a registered Professional Engineer in California.

Cost:

$45 for members, $55 for non-members.  Sign up by Friday, Oct 13 and save $5 on registration!  Walk-ins with no reservation will be charged an extra $10 and be asked to wait until those with reservations are seated.
