Abstract:
Join senior engineer Andrew Aguilar as he maps the efforts to transition our world’s transportation and power systems away from fossil fuels to EVs and renewable energy from the perspectives of supply chains, energy, and demographics. He discusses current and future challenges/opportunities in a rapidly changing world and what California’s industry, regulatory, and community leaders can do to begin addressing them.
Speaker Information:
Andrew is a licensed civil engineer with a diverse background in multi -media environmental compliance, water/wastewater utility design and modeling, site remediation, and cost estimation as a consultant for the United States Department of the Navy. He is currently the manager of Environmental Engineering at General Dynamics NASSCO and oversees their air, stormwater, industrial wastewater, hazardous waste, and incident response programs. Andrew is a San Diego native and San Diego State University alumnus and outside of his professional background he is experienced with agriculture, power utility generation/transmission, and international security.
Cost:
$45 for members, $55 for non-members. Sign up by Friday, Sept 1 and save $5 on registration! Walk-ins with no reservation will be charged an extra $10 and be asked to wait until those with reservations are seated.
