Abstract:
Reterro is a six year old company founded as a remediation contractor utilizing its proprietary technology to remediate contaminated soils. Nearly three years ago, the company was recapitalized and changed its focus to be a brownfield redevelopment company that leverages its proprietary technology and the associated performance guarantee from Munich RE in its brownfield transactions. In addition to its brownfield redevelopment activities, Reterro maintains a separate service business. The talk will provide an overview of the EDT technology, advantages of EDT, a discussion on its sustainability, details on the Munich RE performance cover, and a case study.
Keith Latham is Vice President, Development at Reterro. Throughout his career, he has been an energy project developer, permitting and developing power plants, including utility-scale solar plants. Three of the solar projects he developed were the largest solar plants in California at the time they achieved commercial operations. Throughout his career, he has worked at roles of increasing responsibility for the US Navy, a manufacturer, an environmental consultant, two Fortune 500 energy companies, and he has run his own energy consulting and development firms. He has been involved with Reterro for about the last three years.
